Signing in

1. Enter your username and password.
2. Open your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.) and enter the current 6-digit code for Octavia.
3. All three fields are required. The 2FA code changes every 30 seconds.

Setting up 2FA for the first time

You need to scan a QR code once to link your authenticator app to your account.

1. Go to /2fa/setup/YOUR_USERNAME (your admin will send you this link).
2. Scan the QR code with Google Authenticator, Authy, or any TOTP app.
3. The app will generate a 6-digit code every 30 seconds — use that code to sign in.

If you lose your authenticator, contact your admin to reset your 2FA secret.

Forgot password / can't log in

For administrators

To reset a user's password, log in as supervisor and go to Admin → Change password.

To reset a user's 2FA secret (e.g. they got a new phone), go to Admin → 2FA Reset, then send the user the link /2fa/setup/USERNAME so they can scan the new QR code.

If the supervisor account itself is locked out, run this on the server to reset it:

Roles

• read-only — can view all dashboards, reports, watchlist, and data screens.
• supervisor — full access plus: trigger jobs, manage users, post notes.
